The cost of Shipping & Handling is $16.50 for the first Memory Block and $9.95 for each additional block thereafter on the same order. Tracking confirmations are emailed one to two business days after an order leaves our studio.

USA-bound Shipments: Customs Brokerage Fees
 
The U.S. de minimis threshold, which previously allowed low-value shipments under $800 to enter the USA duty-free, was removed by President Trump via an Executive Order effective August 29, 2025 at 12:01 a.m. ET. 
 
All orders for one Memory Block shipping to the USA on/after August 29th, 2025 are subject to Customs Brokerage Fees ($30.50 USD), which will be added to your order during check out. Customs Brokerage Fees will be covered by Sid Dickens Inc. for orders of two or more Memory Blocks, or for any Gallery tiles.

 

Signature Requirement

ALL orders are sent with a signature requirement. Signature requirements can be removed at your own discretion by emailing [email protected] as soon as possible after you place your order.

Once an order enters the shipping carrier's possession, we no longer have the ability to influence the shipment's speed, route, or handling and changes can no longer be made to the delivery address or signature requirement. 

Drivers may leave the package at your front door with or without a signature requirement at their own discretion. We have no control over this procedure.

If no one is available to sign for the package, your order will be brought to an access point for pick up. Failure to pick up your order from a shipping facility (UPS, Purolator, etc.) will result in your order being returned to Sid Dickens Inc. and a store credit (less any shipping/return costs incurred & a restocking fee) will be applied to your account. 

Sending a gift?

Sid Dickens Memory blocks make excellent gifts!

However, when shipping to another person, here are a few helpful hints to ensure that the package gets delivered successfully to your recipient.

When ordering, please include your recipient's:

  • Phone number  
  • Apartment or Unit number
  • Buzzer number if applicable

Although surprise gifts are great, please make sure your recipient knows to expect a package. Most often, the recipient is not aware and refuses delivery. The shipping carrier then ships the package back to us causing delays and disappointments.

Whenever possible, please track their package or forward them the tracking information so that they can track their (surprise!) package.

Shipping Options

Canada

Shipments will be sent via Purolator Ground or Canada Post. Shipments to PO Box addresses will ship via Canada Post only. Other courier services will not ship to PO Box addresses. 

Local Pick Up is also available for those who can travel to our Vancouver studio. Simply select Local Pick Up as your shipping option during the check out process. You will receive a pick up confirmation email when your order is ready! Pick up times are Monday to Saturday, 9am to 3pm PST at our studio located at 195 West 3rd Avenue, Vancouver, BC, V5Y 1E6. Pick ups are not available on Sundays or statutory holidays.

United States

Shipments will be sent via UPS Standard or FedEx Ground. We are unable to ship orders to PO Boxes.

Alaska and Hawaii customers: please email us at [email protected] to place an order for shipping to AK or HI. 

International

If you are an international customer, we can still ship Memory Blocks and Gallery Tiles directly to you! Shipments will be sent via DHL. At this time, our website only accepts orders from Canada and the United States. Please email us at [email protected] and a member of our customer service team will assist you with placing a manual order.

Please note: any import fees (i.e., customs brokerage, duties, and/or taxes) are the customer's responsibility and are communicated by the courier company (DHL, UPS, etc.) before delivery can occur.
